Source is a brand new food market concept that recently opened in the heart of Coral Gables focusing on locally and sustainably sourced food and goods. After a successful online launch of our farmboxes last spring, Source has expanded its offering so that you can now find a variety of artisan treats, fresh local eggs, great gift ideas and so much more in store. Plus our weekly farmbox is still available to order online for pickup or delivery every Monday. Our focus has and always will be on supporting other local businesses but we also partner with brands and farms outside of our local community who share in our sustainability mission. That means if we couldn’t find it here in South Florida then we did our research to make sure those products are not only good for you but are good for the Earth as well. 

What can you find in store?

Our Source Staples are a selection of dry goods that we handpicked from small US based, family farms, all of which use sustainable and regenerative farming practices. Our selection of pantry staples were also chosen based on their nutritional benefit to you! You’ll find pantry items like almond flour, rolled oats, chia seeds, quinoa and a variety of beans like lentils and garbanzo beans, to name a few (see our Beans Beans Beans recipe entry on tips and tricks to prepare your dried beans just right). Purchase these items in one of our compostable pouches or take them home in a glass jar (for an extra fee) that can be brought back to refill for no additional charge or can be reused in your home.

To complement our weekly farmbox, we have a selection of fresh, always local produce in store to help you get through the work week with healthy and delicious options for lunch time salads or roasted vegetable dinner sides. Our selection of produce is seasonal and changes based on freshness and availability from our local farms. We also partnered with Imagine Farms, a hydroponic farm in Little Haiti, Miami, to bring you fresh greens like watercress, mixed lettuces (happiness blend) and romaine. You will also find local, organic eggs and farm fresh mushrooms.

Source carries many brands that create and hand craft their food and goods right here in South Florida. From kombucha to Rebirth Elixirs, Guudy coconut milk ice cream and Courtney’s Cookies vegan ice cream sandwiches, Jojo tea and Great Circle Coffee, Exquisito Chocolates and Jammy Yummy vegetable jams, these are just a few of the local artisans that are available to shop in store. You’ll also find fresh soup weekly by Whatsoup, a rotating selection of South Indian meals by Annam Miami and our grab and go section of prepared salads, sandwiches and grain bowls will be launching very soon! We strive to collaborate with as many local businesses as possible so that we can bring you the tastiest and freshest foods possible.
